Lamar Curtis – President

Lamar Curtis is the founder and president of IAG. He is responsible for all aspects of the company's direction, strategy, financing, business development, and operations. Lamar brings an exceptional blend of technical, business and leadership expertise to IAG, with an unwavering commitment to client service. He has more than 20 years experience in financial services, business operations and sales, technology services, and healthcare practice management, including more than 10 years of executive leadership in the technology industry.
Before starting IAG, Lamar was the chief operating officer for a start-up software development company that developed online business systems and produced multimedia content. Large-scale projects included an Internet-based medical practice management system for a multi-state network of oral surgeons, and animation-based media products. Prior to that, Lamar was a CPA and certified financial planner for a financial consulting firm, where he also served as the in-house tech consultant.
Lamar has been a tech enthusiast since he bought his first computer right after high school. In college he built a computer system for a bank's student loan program and has been building computer systems, or teams to build them, ever since. Through his capable and inspired leadership, Lamar has built a thriving company with an extremely talented and dedicated team.
Lamar has a B.A. in accounting and finance from the University of Texas at Austin.

Dan Smith is the chief information officer (CIO) for IAG. He is the architect of the information technology systems that support IAG's operations and strategic business goals. He also serves as the CIO for IAG's clients. In addition, Dan turns abstract ideas into concrete product offerings, and has the unique ability to translate highly complex, technical designs into layman's terms for IAG clients. Dan has been with IAG since it was founded, starting just a few days after it opened for business.
Before joining IAG, Dan was the network manager at an Internet software company that designed online business systems. He maintained all internal and customer hosting server and network systems as the company went through an intense period of growth. Prior to that, Dan served on desktop support teams for a large energy services enterprise and in technical services for a national computer retail chain.
Dan brings a passion for technology and an enormous depth of technical knowledge to the IAG team. He is dedicated to providing the finest analysis and strategic guidance on all projects for both IAG and IAG's clients. He also has a quick wit [or keen sense of humor], providing comic relief at every unexpected turn.

Jalayn Maldonado moved to Houston in 2000 and played an integral part in the start up of IAG in 2002. With a keen sense of organization and process, she brings over 15 years of experience in back office support services. As Vice President, she now manages all aspects of our Accounting, Human Resources and Procurement Departments and works closely with our technicians on special client projects. Jalayn has continued her education at The University of Phoenix and spends most of her spare time raising two beautiful daughters. She enjoys volunteering and coaching youth sports and spends her weekends and summers traveling to sporting events that her children are participating in.

After 25 years of cold winds and the snow capped Rocky Mountains Victoria welcomed sunny beaches and the big city life Houston offers. Along with her wonderful husband and two beautiful children she now considers Houston home. Spending time with her family is her favorite pastime. Technology was a natural career choice for Victoria as it is something she enjoys and is good at. With six years experience in the field, Victoria has developed a passion for helping, teaching, and providing value to end users which has earned her an admirable reputation with IAG clients. Melissa Knight is the Senior Programmer at IAG. With over 13 years of programming and IT support experience she brings a strong dynamic to the team as a programmer and business and database consultant. Prior to IAG, Melissa worked with several small to medium Software, Internet and IT Support firms focusing her talents on understanding the core management, technology, integration and process needs of each firm and their clientele. Her training history focuses her abilities in the IT field and has facilitated her career successes. Melissa was born and raised in New Orleans, LA and transplanted to Houston, TX in 2001 to pursue her career and training in the IT field. Her hobbies include spending time with her family, reading, horror movies, video games, football, playing in the APA pool league, tubing and anything purple! Melissa’s passionate, purple personality brings a bright spunk to the team.

Mica Roth is a Senior Engineer at IAG and provides high level technical service to IAG clients. Curious and talented, he loves to troubleshoot and solve problems. Mica graduated from ITT Tech with a network degree and enjoys working with people to help them understand the technology that surrounds them. He is a self proclaimed nerd genius and loves all the new technology, gadgets and gizmos that continue to reinvent how we interact with technology in our lives. He is an amazing guitar player and enjoys spending time with friends and family outside of work - but working on computers and investigating how things work are his passion.

Michelle is an avid scuba diver who has logged numerous hours in the Caribbean. A former classical musician, she loves angry eastern-block music. Recently Michelle completed her AAS in programming and is attending University of Houston finishing her Bachelor’s degree in Technology Management. Secretly Michelle would like to be a sommelier in her next life. Michelle, her husband and four-year old daughter are expecting the newest member of the family in late September.

Robert Sim graduated from the UCONN with a B.S. in Management Information Systems. Shortly after graduating from UCONN, he was deployed to Afghanistan with the Connecticut Army National Guard. Robert and his wife have recently moved into their first house and are looking forward to having children. A Houstonian since 1996, Folio was born and raised in the tip of the appalachian Mountains of West Virginia. He and his Wife are the proud parents of four boys. Folio’s hobbies include hiking, camping, gaming, and cooking. Prior to working with IAG, Folio worked for eight years at one of the Big Four accounting firms as an Office & Hospitality Services Coordinator and a Technical Support Specialist with supporting roles as an Instructor, Asset Manager, and Work Order Coordinator responsible for maintaining and coordinating the lease refresh schedules of the South West Area. Folio draws upon this past experience to meet the needs of IAG clients.

In early 2009 Angela moved to Houston from Colorado Springs where she was previously a Network Administrator. She is enjoying spending more time with her niece and nephew and watching them grow. Missing the mountains but growing accustomed to the beach, she visits the ocean with her two dogs, Apollo and Beau, as frequently as possible. Angela is currently working toward higher education in the IT industry and brushing up on Spanish and American Sign Language. With a background made from equal parts of customer service and technology, Angela is settling in comfortably as a member of the IAG Team.

Chris Carter, the newest addition to our technical team hails from the small country town of Birmingham, Alabama, where he was very active in community sports, but was always a closet nerd. Lesley Goudeau, a self-proclaimed nerd, has spent most of her professional career serving as administrative support in a technical environment. Her experience ranges from office clerk to Database Development. She spends most of her time with her family and friends, loves cooking and entertaining and playing with her two hound dogs. Lesley completed her first MS150 charity bike ride in New Orleans in 2008 and has since recruited 3 new riders for the 2009 event. Originally from New Orleans, she embodies the essence of a southern belle – polite, witty and steadfast.

After 25 years in the real estate industry and a few years as a retired person, Sue decided to share some of her expertise in marketing with the IAG team. Her real passions are her family – all the boys – husband, son, and two grandsons) and her daughter in law---, her cats –especially Charley ( Max is OK but kind of grumpy), and trips to San Miguel de Allende in the mountains of Mexico. Work is good, life is better!
